TSSC sequins are made from 20% recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate) offering a more sustainable alternative to conventional sequins, which are made entirely from virgin plastics, often including PVC, which is harmful to human health during manufacture, use and disposal. Benefits of using a percentage of recycled plastic include: preservation of non-renewable fossil fuels, specifically oil; reduced energy requirements during manufacture and therefore reduced emissions; conservation of landfill space and/or reduction of toxic pollutants from incineration.
S-** are shiny | metallic (except for S-12 which is glossy rather than metallic)

D-** are semi transparent, shiny on one side and matte on the other and look darker when layered up

What they work well for
These sequins are suitable for hand stitching onto garments, costumes, accessories, and soft furnishings. The side hole makes them ideal for overlapping applications, fringing effects, and drape-style decoration.
These sequins are made from 20% recycled plastic film punched in the UK and available in a wide range of colours and finishes. We are transitioning to 100% recycled, Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified plastic. Selected colours are already available, with more coming soon, and we are working towards a fully compostable sequin and actively researching plant-based alternatives in collaboration with UK universities and partners.
Returns are accepted within 14 days on unopened, unused items. As sequins are a small loose product, opened packs cannot be returned unless faulty. If something isn't right, please contact us and I will do my best to help.

Smaller circles are useful for fine detail and dense embellishment; mid-sized circles give versatile coverage; larger circles create a bolder, more visible effect. Try a small sample first when scale or drape is important.
A centre hole gives an even, anchored look and is a natural choice for all-over coverage. A side hole lets the sequin sit directionally, so it can create a more fluid, scale-like or layered effect.
Flat circles lie smoothly against the surface. Cupped circles add more dimension and catch the light from more angles. Choose the finish and profile shown in the selected variant, then test it on your chosen fabric.
Use a small, secure stitch through the hole; a bead can help cover and protect a centre stitch where appropriate. For finished pieces, gentle hand washing is recommended. Avoid machine washing, steam and harsh chemicals.
