TSSC sequins are made from 20% recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate) offering a more sustainable alternative to conventional sequins, which are made entirely from virgin plastics, often including PVC, which is harmful to human health during manufacture, use and disposal. Benefits of using a percentage of recycled plastic include: preservation of non-renewable fossil fuels, specifically oil; reduced energy requirements during manufacture and therefore reduced emissions; conservation of landfill space and/or reduction of toxic pollutants from incineration.
S-** are shiny | metallic (except for S-12 which is glossy rather than metallic)

F-** are fluorescent | neon
T-** have different colours/effects on each side of the film
D-** are semi transparent, shiny on one side and matte on the other and look darker when layered up

What they work well for
These sequins are suitable for hand stitching onto garments, costumes, accessories, and soft furnishings. The side hole makes them ideal for overlapping applications, fringing effects, and drape-style decoration.
These sequins are made from 20% recycled plastic film punched in the UK and available in a wide range of colours and finishes. We are transitioning to 100% recycled, Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified plastic. Selected colours are already available, with more coming soon, and we are working towards a fully compostable sequin and actively researching plant-based alternatives in collaboration with UK universities and partners.
Returns are accepted within 14 days on unopened, unused items. As sequins are a small loose product, opened packs cannot be returned unless faulty. If something isn't right, please contact us and I will do my best to help.

Teardrops work beautifully as petals, leaves, scales and falling-droplet details. Point them toward or away from the centre of a motif to change the sense of movement.
A small overlap creates fuller coverage and a layered, organic surface. Arrange a few pieces on your fabric before stitching to choose the spacing and direction that gives the desired result.
The option label shows the selected weight or quantity. Larger teardrops cover more area per piece, while smaller ones offer more detail, so a small swatch is the best way to estimate your requirement.
Secure the selected hole with a small stitch and test your method before starting. Finished work should be gently hand washed only; avoid machine washing, steam and harsh chemicals.
